Happy First Birthday, Biscuit!!!
About the only ball that Trevor hasn't taken apart is one of those super-hard Kong balls. Of course, it's really hard and kind of heavy, so we don't actually play catch with it (I'm afraid I'll clunk him on the head with it
); it's more for him to play with during the day, when he's by himself.
I do have a plastic doghouse for him (got it at Petco, I think) in his outside kennel, but I don't rely on that for shade. The kennel itself has a weather-proof roof, but I also have a mister system rigged up for him, on a timer, for when the weather turns warm (did I mentioned he is spoiled?!!
) And when it gets really hot (mid 90's and above), or it's raining heavily, he stays inside for the day, in his indoor pen. (I can only imagine what fun the cats have, tormenting him while he's inside the pen, and they're outside
)
