Bonnie, Yours could jump 4ft?, and I thought 3ft fence was incredible when Pepper escaped from the kitchen x-pen and forced us to buy the tallest one. They are so darn smart.
The harness I'd never use for the back of the truck. People throw things. Securing a crate back there is the only option, but only when we get a shell.
Debi, The harness that fits on the seatbelt is a feasible option. I had no idea they could fit on a lapbelt. I thought it was just the baby car seat hook that was used which is why I didn't check them out. I am light enough weight that I could have it connects on my lapbelt (wouldn't be too much for the belt). We could install a hook on the floorboard if we have a bed down there.
My husband called and he said the truck was monster size. Yes quite a change from a small toyota to a 3/4 ton. I'm eager to see the cab as a kennel may fit on the floorboard!...I have short legs.
I'm still curious if anyone puts their dog in a kennel/crate in the shell area of a truck.
