Hah! Your original comment was pretty much accurate, Michael, but your second picture is amusing. I have herded deer, and the only way to do it is v-e-r-y slowly and from a great distance. As soon as you get anywhere near them, they scatter to all corners of the paddock. They don't tend to bunch up under pressure in the same way as sheep do and are much quicker to move and break than cattle are.

Clogs likes to herd, too and the favourite "animal" is me and the wheel-barrow. Rushes to the front to stop the leader from going too fast, then to the back to keep the straggler in line. Much grinning involved all round.
