ColCort the other thing to realize is a corgi is so much faster than a rott. My old Pepper's play with a friend's younger rott was funny. The rott stepped over her to assert dominance and she just scooted on her way. The rott looked down thinking where the heck is she, not realizing how low to the ground she was.

Now a lab, well she didn't appreciate getting hit in the face with their strong tail. She hid under my legs. Her favorite neighborhood male was a pit bull. Guess she did like those boys without the hurting tail! She wanted nothing to do with the yappy yorkie around the corner.

As a pup, she played with a fox terrior, but as she aged she liked the bigger dogs, more mellow. Though size didn't matter, it was personality and energy. She wanted to be around lower energy in her older age.
