The person who wrote that Cardigan Corgis were becoming extinct in Britain and me in mentioning this item and implying that one of the reasons for what is happening in the UK and the substantial difference between Pem numbers and Cardi numbers worldwide, could be that Cardis were generally not as glamorous as Pembrokes, maybe have given the Cardi a whole new burst of life.
The number of Go Corgi members who are suddenly (or otherwise) committing themselves to getting a Cardi as their very next Corgi, is highly commendable and I look forward to a a big influx of Cardi antics and Cardi owners on Go Corgi. I hope it is not just a rush of blood.
The elongated banner I am going to have produced for the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club will feature images of a Pem and a Cardi. So it is straight down the line as far as I am concerned no matter if there were no Cardis left in NZ (and with only two current breeders, it is getting that way).
