[Owen's mom]

I was walking Owen in my neighborhood a couple of days ago when I heard a woman shout "Look, a corgi!" She pulled over, jumped out with her 5 month pemmie and began to talk about how wonderful corgis are. She told me she had seen a corgi puppy at her daughter's soccer match in the fall and thought he was so adorable that she started researching the breed and got her puppy in December. I realized that the puppy she met at the soccer games was Owen and I suddenly felt so responsible....but she is clearly a loving corgi mom and tells me that training is coming along really well. We plan to get the two boys together at the dog park when Owen is a little more recovered from his surgery since they had so much fun tangling up their leashes.
