Funny I see this thread. I was just reading a book my little girl brought home from school that tells of corgis being used for hearing aid dogs somewhere here in the US. Talked about the cost involved, showed pictures of training the dogs and such. VERY cute! Also showed a picture of hearing impared with their trained dogs.
That has to be heart breaking to do that for work and it must really take a special person to do. Spend all that time with the dog in training and give the dog away. OUCH.
Couldn't be a better breed, mine hears a crumb drop from 150 yards..
