Thanks Debbie, is GSE- grapefruit seed extract? or is it something else, i just googled this to find out what GSE was and that was the only thing linked to immune health that i could find... I had not heard of that one yet... I will also look at the wellness line for immuno support.

The amount of Glucosamine in most of the super premium dog foods is not enough to make a difference, so adding the suppliment is really the way to go to ensure that you are giving them enough. same thing with vitamin C- the glucosamine i use has vitamin C in it but only 10mg which is not enough... that is why i add vitamin C. The glucosamine i use is joint care by dr fosters and smith, it is granulated and easy to mix into the pumpkin, yogurt and small bit of canned food that i mix the dry food into - the overall cost seems pricey but it lasts a long time, so overall it is not that expensive... i think i pay $55 for a bottle but it lasted about 11 months with one dog, and now i have two so i am figuring 5 months per bottle with two dogs... not too bad..
