Not again

Took Taylor to a local beach earlier today to enjoy the beautiful weather, and Taylor had a great time for a couple of hours - he paddled in the warm water for lengthy periods and even dug a hole in the wet sand. Met quite a few other dogs but he really latched onto a 11 month old male Bishon Frise-Pekingese cross and I got into a good conversation with the dog's owners as we waked along the beach. That was until we met a kite in action. Taylor was preoccupied with his newly found friend but the inevitable happened. He looked up in the bright blue cloudless sky and saw this frantically flying kite. What will he do, the people asked me, run home, I said. But the only trouble is we are a long way from home. So I raced after a retreating Taylor and put his leash on him and we quickly sped to the safety of Taylor's mum (my wife, Leigh) who had been sitting on the beach and reading a book.
