Ice cream - I had a Corgi who didn't like ice cream much to the suprise of a shop keeper who on one hot day opposite a lovely beach, presneted him with a ice cream in a cone.

Ice cream is sugary and fattening ( well at least the usual NZ version are because they are made of up to 100 percent of cream) so it is very go easy on giving ice cream to dogs. However we steer right away from chocolate icecream because choc is toxic to dogs. Taylor gets ice cream almost zilch but he does get to lick out a bowl that has had whipped cream in it or to race me to lick off the cream on one of the whipping machine beaters after the cream has been whipped.
