We never did any formal training with Darci, but when Egan is around 6 months I think we will enroll both of them in class. We have a facility that does lessons ( they also show corgi's ) about an hour away, I think I will use them.

Chip's Mom, what I was able to learn at the picnic is that the closest freestyle type classes are in Asheville. The Greater Kingsport Kennel Club would be your best bet to look into classes. One of the out of state picnic goers who has been training and teaching classes for like 25 years observed classes at the new PetsMart and let's just say she wasn't impressed. I think there was mention of the friend with her having to use some pretty strong negative corrections to get her out of the store.
So those classes didn't get a real high recommendation.
