thanks for the info. Chloe has a little more nub that she should and I was thinking of having it docked when she goes in to have her big operation. How old is Chloe? Docking done later than that first week window, then one can get into more major surgery even effecting the sphincter muscles and cause loss of control when defecating. Your vet would likely talk you out of it anyway. I think you have made the right decision to let her nubby stay.
