Went with my gut instinct. Called the original breeder today and she asked all the right questions. She said my initial email to her passed her rigorous standards, or she would have sent me to someone else.
She says she has a few R&W males that she'll watch in the coming weeks to make sure they'll be a good fit, but all the research I've done, this woman is a QUALITY breeder. Not just for standard, but for temperment and she is very VERY picky I guess as to who gets one of her puppies. (as the price reflects) I was proud to tell her that in my research, other breeders I had spoken to regarded her and her line in awe. And of course, I'm feeling good myself that she approves of me and likes the "way you think"!
Em will tell you that her line is a beautiful line. I don't want to mention names here, but I will email some of you when I know more and have puppy pictures.
Only thing is that she doesn't know if any of the puppies are fluffies yet or not. But that will be 4 more weeks and she'll know.
So I am glad I didn't give in to my desires and I'm holding out for the best I can afford....
Now the only question remains.... HOW on earth do I WAIT until at least June for a puppy?!
