I agree with many of the others thoughts...keep looking. In regards to what Michael had stated about Corgis getting along with other dogs their own size best, I slightly disagree. Ponzo goes to dog daycare and everytime I go to pick him up, out he trots from the big dog room. People tend to look at me like I'm crazy and say things like, "My dog is much too big for yours." I always tell them, "Not for this dog, It's the bigger the better for him!" He adores being swatted at by huge dogs...Loves especially English Mastiffs, Great Danes, Dobermans and this Presa Canario (I was a tad nervous about that one, but I let the anxiety go so the dog introduction would go fine, and it did). I think it depends on your dog's style of play, If your dog is having nothing but a wonderful time playing with large dogs, it will be fine. Keep looking and don't let other's reservations about another breed or corgis hold you back, you know what you and your dog can handle.
