Nutrience premium dry dog food has gone one better I see. They now produce Early Development food to tie up with their puppy food, junior food, adult food and senior food.
So it is becoming more specialised despite the presence of a few (one manufacturer?) products that are depicted as a kind of all-purpose food.

Price wise, there is not much difference between any of the Nutrience products at the top of their range excluding diet (weight loss) food which is cheaper. It is more expensive to put weight on your dog apart from giving them more food than they need!
