I have been told that shaving or trimming corgi's coats is NOT good for them, and that the hair can grow in unevenly afterwards. Also, because corgis have a thick double-coat, their skin is very sensitive and shouldn't be exposed to the sun at all if possible...
...I hate to say it, but a better option might just be washing and brushing Moe every day after he hangs with you in the barn!
