I have a black wire 30" long crate from ebay. This is my first wire crate. I had the plastic ones most of my dog career. I used my cat's small plastic one when I first got Liam. Wire is easier to clean than plastic because it has a tray. The door latches are easier to open than spring loaded ones on the plastic. Liam likes to see out. I can see what he is doing. I am more confident that the car a/c is circulating through the wire crate (this is important in Houston). They fold almost flat and are easier to move. I sold my large crates on Craig's List when I didn't need them anymore and they go fast so you aren't stuck with them. Happy shopping.
