Like so many others, I had my heart set on a totally different puppy than I ended up with. I wanted a red and white female and had a name picked out and everything. I even turned down a tri colored female from a different breeder.
So when I found my breeder on the PWCCA and she had 8 puppies just born, 6 R&W and 2 male tris, I didn't even consider the tris. BUT... Then I met Oliver. As soon as I held Oliver (a black headed tri male) that was it! And now I just love tris!
I would say keep your mind at least a tiny bit open and meet them. You'll know after the puppies are little older which one if any are for you. You're puppy is out there. Good luck!
