Well done Apollo. My Taylor sometimes eats his dinner by tracking various portions of it over large (1-2 acres) properties which have lots of hidden and secret places. Apollo must hold strong feelings for that ball because he wanted to get it badly enough to track it down. I have very recently finished an article on dogs tracking and in the article I noted that the average dogs have 220 million something or other that gives them such magnificent scenting skills - this compared to a human who has a mere 5 million. You should get Apollo into the sport of tracking - Corgis are very good at it partly because of their being low to the ground, determined and not easily distracted.
