Pet products for arthritis come up short

Arthritis supplements often come up short - Arthritis - MSNBC.com

This is a link to an article on the results that consumerlab.com did on arthritis supplements. ConsumerLab tests products to see if what is listed on the label is in the product! I know, novel idea that a person would get what they pay for. Well a key arthritis ingredient that is expensive is Chondroitin and it was missing or lower than the label stated.

ConsumerLab only tested two pet products, but both came up short:
Joint MAX Regular Strength
Nutri-Vet Nutritionals Hip & Joint Soft Chews

I know from selling Shaklee products (for human usage), that Shaklee tests the raw material, tests the end product that goes in the bottle, then also does clinical trial to make sure the product does what it claims to do, finally publishes the clinical results in a peer review periodical. This statement should help you evaluate the responses in the article from the two products above.
