It's amazing what people and dogs can swallow and eat without any affects. What is a a rubber band to a little Corgi is a rubber glove to a Golden Retriever. Corgis are very low to the ground and can pick up an object and swallow it in a blink of an eye. Taffy goes out twice nightly for toilet walks so who is to know very often what he grabs, eats, swallows in the dark let alone when he is off-lead running around in parks and bushes. The most dangerous situation for any Corgi is at rest homes/retirement villages/ hospitals where a low lying little fellow can locate a dropped or missing tablet or pill.
