To help her stop crying, put some rice in a tube sock, heat it in the microwave until it's warm. Place that AND a ticking alarm clock under the sock. The warm sock gives them something to snuggle against, and the ticking of the clock reminds them of a heartbeat. You may have to do this several times, but they usually get use to sleeping by themselves. As far as sleeping in bed with you.....that's up to each owner. I don't allow my dogs to sleep with us, but they're beds are close to our beds.
