Canadian points seem much easier to get. But it could have something to do with the entries--We have up to a 1000 dog show at times, or even more. This show had a 175 dog limit and ran 2 shows a day. And they figure it so you get points of the total dogs entered, not just the same sex as AKC. And in Canada vs AKC, you can get points for any group placement, not just a group 1.
Some dogs overall are easier to finish then others. I had one that was almost 4 and needed single point wins, when I gave up. But this boy-Moose finished his AKC championship in 6 weekends over a 3 month period and under 10 mos of age.
What are the normal entries for corgis-both breeds at the shows? That might make a difference too.
