Hi ya'll, we just recently returned from a trip to Pinehurst, NC with our puppy Rosie. She did really great. We bought her a SOLVIT DELUXE PET BOOSTER CAR SEAT on Ebay which was great for her because she was safe in the back-seat with a built in restraint in the seat, she mostly curled up and slept. We found quite a long list of pet friendly hotels on Google--most Hampton Inns and Holiday Inn Express are pet friendly. Also her crate came along so keeping her in her own place for sleeping and while we ate at restaurants was good. We also would keep the car running (had two keys along) while we ate so that she could enjoy the air-conditioning and not experience any heat problems.

She was a very good traveler the whole way--but now that we are home she's seemed to have forgotten some our her previously learned lessons about potty training. Oh well, gotta love corgi's!
