This is worth mentioning here : the WWCWC has got funds available to help with Corgi (pure bred only) rescue and I have now established cointact with SPCA and animal rescue organisations and Council dog control centres in the Wellington region. So I am geared up for assisting. Thank goodness pure bred Corgis are not a common breed of dog needing to be rehomed etc but one never knows when the occasion will arise. Debbie of Glencorgi thinks that Corgis are not as abundant in New Zealand as they are in the USA but probably on a human population basis, there could be more Corgis in New Zealand per capita than there are in the USA.
