Thanks Debbie. I already found a new home for a lovely 2 year old fluffy Pem named Holly and when I phoned one of the SPCAs re the rescue thing, they told me that Holly was on their 'books' and were very pleased when I told them Holly had already been rehomed and is being very well taken care of.

In two surveys of the total and individual pipulation of dogs in NZ, I estimated that there were some 7000 Corgi and Corgi cross in NZ with around 70-80 percent of them pure bred. Now on a comparative basis with the USA, there would need to be something like 550,000 Corgi and Corgi crosses in the USA.
