I woild definitely say that this is too much for a Corgi - a cup and a half per day of puppy food sounds more reasonable. But there are different brands of puppy food which contains different fat contents or weight producing items of food. If you are feeding your pup with premium or super premium dry food (kibble) the packaging should have a chart for recommended quantities per full meal per day. It is recommended to give your puppy three -four meals a day maybe until nine months old then reduce to two-three, dividing a full meal into two-three-four portions. I would supplement this with a daily large biscuit and once weekly, a meaty raw beef or lamb bone of the type that won't splinter. Most puppies/dogs seem never satisfied and always hungry and on the lookout for food.
