Just out of curiosity, do some cardigans have thicker ears than others? I know when I look at pictures of pembroke pictures their ears seem smaller than cardis, at least when they are puppies. Dudley's ears just seem really thick and heavy. Could this be a reason they have trouble coming up or is this a characteristic of all cardis?

Yes, some Cardigans do have thicker ear leather and even larger ears than other Cardis. The bigger the ear and the heavier the leather, the more nail biting one does when the ears are supposed to be coming up.
Pembroke ears can have the same type variation in thickness and size and one goes through the same nail biting , but generally speaking; they're ears are smaller than Cardigans.
Debbie
