None of my Corgis gave ever killed a bird - and New Zealand is full of them.
They have all been keen on occasions to keep flying birds from landing in their property. Taylor has told birds where to go but with baby birds who can't fly - he leaves them alone. Birds in general treat dogs differently to cats. They don't take so much notice of dogs as they seem to realise that dogs are not bird killers like cats are.
Corgis can go through different temporary stages and yours maybe in a kind of 'mood' at present that won't last.
