I agree Peggy. But I think this was such a fortunate situation for both David and Bubba. They are truly made for each other. Remember that David was feeling ill before Bubba came into his life and now you never hear him say a thing about feeling unwell.
Duchess came to me in a similar situation where the breeder was trying to find a second home for her. In a way it was a rescue but not in the truest sense.
We should probably not use the term "rescue", in these cases, and I will abstain from using that phrase myself. Although to tell the truth I don't think Duchess could have made it with many other household as well as she did here. She has some quirks that may have made difficulties if not handled properly. And I can't really take credit for dealing with her tempermental flaws. Things just worked out for us and Duchess is generally a Sweetheart.
