I didn't say a breeder replacement. I said breeder PLACEMENT no re. He was placed by his breeder. That is not a rescue.

He is not a rescue, you got him from his breeder not from a shelter or rescue group. That is a breeder PLACEMENT. When I put one of my dogs in a new home, be it a puppy or adult dog it's as a placement not as a rescue.

I "rescued" him from having to look further for a home.
He had a home. He wasn't having to look further for a home, he had a home with his breeder until a different one came along for him. I know it's a difference in termonology, but again I'm seeing where more and more people buy or even get a dog for free from a breeder and call it a rescue. And they just are not rescues, they're breeder placements.

The breeder was going to get rid of him and was trying to find him a home.
Right a rehome or placement.

I "rescued" him from going to a place not near what he's found with me.
Where was he going if he did not come to you? Was she going to take him to the shelter? That's not what I understood and if she was shame on her as NO breeder should ever take their own dogs to a shelter.

Quote:
I "rescued" him from living a life outdoors and not being fed properly and given proper medical attention when needed. Are you beginning to get my drift?
Ok, I see what you are saying, but if she wasn't taking care of him properly then she wasn't much of a breeder was she? That is not the impression I was getting from your previous posts. I got that he was taken care of and was just being placed as she didn't need him in her breeding program.

You not going to hijack my happiness in finding him,
I am not trying to hijack your happiness. I am only trying to correct what I see as a slight misrepresentation in terms. I am thrilled you have him and as I said he looks like he's doing very well with you. I am thrilled for both of you.

You seem to delight in creating dissension wherever you go and I for one am fed up with it.
I am not trying to create disention. Ask Debbie she will tell you he's not a rescue. Just trying to correct a slight (and yes I thought it was a slight) termonology mistake.

You created it here on this forum before and caused many to leave.
I did not. Michael had a lot to do with that it wasn't just me. And those that left left because of differences with Michael not with me. They invited me to join them in another forum.

You've done it recently other places and I've always been silent on matters such as this but, you've pulled the wrong plug this time.
I am sorry I offenced you but rescues come from shelters or from rescue groups. NOT from breeders.

You always seem to find something wrong with someone's posts or threads and always throw in a monkey wrench instead of sharing in their happiness or sincere questions or responses with your "I'm the teacher and you're the student" attitude.
EXCUSE ME!!! But if I happen to more know than someone else, and most of that I learned the hard way, and I try to share that knowlege, then where's the harm there? If you choose not to learn that is your problem.

Quote:
Well, share in the happiness I've just received or just don't say anything would be my suggestion to you. You will not destroy my feeling of elation by your remarks on terms.
I'm not trying to destroy anything. I'm sorry you took it that way. As I said I'm thrilled you got him and glad he's doing so well with you and that he is such a joy in your life.

I did not mean to rain on your parade, just wanted you to know that when you get a dog from a breeder it's not a rescue. And that doesn't change the fact that he's a great dog for you or lucky to have found you and your home.

I wish people would stop reading into my post things I do not intend. Read them for what they are and stop reading between the lines.

Peggy
