I was more thinking about Cesar's 'tough love' methodologies which better suit the medium-large dogs who are more difficult to handle and are more physically imposing.
I exercise a 6 month old Lab three days a week and boy am I grateful when I can release her at a park. She has the pull and the strong desires to get at express speed to where there is water and grass and room to gallop and many smells and sticks for fetching. Compared to her the two Corgis who have occupied my other hand up til yesterday, are powder puffs.
