It was a little jarring to see a dog get so torn up like that. A group of people approached the owner of the dog that attacked. The Owner quickly copped an attitude and refused to leave. At that time Nick was quickly leashed and we shuffled off to the other end of the park. It is a shame because it only takes one irresponsible owner and the rest of us can lose the priviledge to use the park. New York City for the most part is a dog friendly town however there is very little tolerance for animals and their owners acting poorly.
