He hated to be brushed when I first got him. Everday while he's napping on my lap I grab a slicker brush and run through his fur for 2-5 minutes. He's sometimes annoyed, and sometimes seems to actually enjoy it. He's been really great with clipping his nails, cutting the fur between his toes, ear cleaning, and brushing his teeth!

Looks like Charlie’s right on Peanut’s tail! I didn’t notice Peanut’s adult fur until we washed him one day and I noticed an area of rough, coarse fur. Initially I thought it was residue from the puppy shampoo, but my boyfriend said it was the adult fur.
How is the Buddy shampoo? We are starting to give Peanut weekly baths because everyday he plays outside in the grass and eliminated outside.
After reading the reviews on the forum and from the breeder, I purchased the FURminator. Wow, that thing is amazing. Its like a tick/flea comb x 5! Peanut is hasn’t warmed up to brushing, but will stay somewhat still when we brush him.
Good to hear Charlie is doing well!
