I saw Duchess rubbing her eye on the carpet this morning and then saw her red eye lining. A quick trip to the vet established she has higher pressure in the eye than normal.

Now we have a referral to an eye specialist. Luckily we got an emergency appointment for Tuesday early morning.

The first vet gave me two prescriptions for rather expensive medications. I didn't get them filled since I was given some drops to put in her eye already.
I don't think waiting until I see the specialist is a bad idea. What is your opinion?

Just looked up Glaucoma on the net and it doesn't look good. Kind of scary.
