Hi aircooled,
I've changed his food twice already, mainly because he didn't seem to like the first two foods much. We did transition very slowly both times. He eats his current food like a "true Corgi"...eats it all and looks at me like he should have more. He had been on his same food for at least 2 weeks before the runs started.
I'm back to thinking that it is some plant he's chewing on in the yard. Instead of giving him Kaopectate when I got back from the vet, I decided to wait to check his mid-afternoon poop. He didn't have it on schedule, but about 3 1/2 hours late. It looked perfectly normal and solid. So the slimy, mucous-covered poop, was hopefully a one-time occurrence this morning only.
Keeping my fingers crossed that he's ok (...again).
