[Chip's Mom]

A friend of mine had an old dog and a parrot. She really loved the dog and did everything in her power to keep that dog alive. Well finally she had to put it to sleep and the parrot kept calling for the dog, he would say the dog's name and she couldn't stand it so she gave her bird away too. Sad story.

Your parrot probably likes to listen to them bark. That cockatiel of mine would talk to Digger. I would hold Digger up to his cage and he would come down from his perch and make little tiny clucking sounds to him and Digger would try to kiss him. Now that bird would bite any hand even the one that fed him but he always loved Digger. Birds are funny and so entertaining.
