That really is a cool "trick" for Nick to kick the extra balls back! Since Charlie doesn't retrieve, but carries his toys away from me to put in a pile, I often throw out a second toy before he has "placed" the first toy in his pile. He's so funny. He'll run to the second toy with the first toy in his mouth. You can see him thinking really hard, "Let's see, to pick up toy 2, I have to drop toy 1." After a few seconds he chooses which toy to take to the pile first, then goes after the next.

I envy all of you who have Corgis that retrieve...one or multiples!
