He has this problem with eating poop, and it doesn't seem to matter what kind it is, so he keeps reinfecting himself. He started out with Giardia (sp?) and one other parasite, but thanks to the rabbits who seem to poop out ten times their weight in our yard, he now has tapeworm. We've tried Forbid from the vet and now we're using this Stop Eating Poop stuff from the pet store, but it only seems to help a little. When he's alone during the day, we can't stop him from eating his poop, and it's hard to control him eating the rabbit poop because when he sniffs around to go, he gets it in his mouth and swallows it before you can get it from him. What a stinker! Needless to say, I won't always accept his kisses!
You'll need to fence off the rabbit area so he can't get to it. That's going to be the only way to keep him away from it.

As for Forbid I've not tried it but I've yet to hear anyone who has say that it's worked. In fact I've not heard of any one method other than picking up the poop before the dog gets to it to have worked.

It's a pretty common dog problem. Lots of dogs do it.
