My boyfriend and I just got home from work, we have both been gone all day long (10:15am-8:00pm). There have been people home all day and they have left her in her crate for no longer than a few hours without a break from it. She has been outside to go to the bathroom several times as well. When I got home I gave her lots of love and took her outside again. She is missbehaving pretty badly, she's barking at people, nipping excessively and not listening as well as she normally does. The people who were watching her today said that she has been like this most of the day. Is she just upset because we were gone for so long? Or does it sound like something else is wong? The people who were watching her today dont seem to know how to dicipline her, so could she maybe be acting like this because all day long she has gotten away with it? Any suggestions on what I should do?
