I think you can skip the sweater, and (like Lou Ann wrote) replace that item with a baby swimming/wading pool for summer. I know Denton gets a little colder than Austin (where we are) but not too much. You can get a sweater later if you just want the "cute" factor.

There do seem to be more breeders in the Denton area than here. I had a hard time finding any breeders within 60 miles and was starting to look into driving to Dallas or Houston. $600.00 was the bottom end here for a pet quality dog (mostly horse ranch dogs). The show breeders here wanted $800 for pet quality and $1200 and up for show quality.
