The "emergency vet fund" is a good idea. I'm looking at having to take Charlie to have at least two of his puppy canine teeth pulled. Since they still aren't loose, we're looking at office call, anesthesia costs, plus the work. That wasn't in the budget when I got him Labor Day weekend.
