In all honesty, ,why would anyone recommend a Corgi unaccounted for and probably carrying baggage, over one presumably with everything in place. There is infinitely less of a lottery in obtaining a puppy from a careful breeder who knows the history of the Corgis parents and grandparents etc. Sentiment is fine up to a point. If I found a loveable Corgi in dire straits, I'd want to find him/her a good home too.
