Dozer's Birthday - 12-12-2007, 10:48 PM

Dozer tends to have a quiet birthday with loads of new toys with squeakers. He was just in the annual Christmas Parade in our small town with our Willamette Valley Corgi Club which has about 30 corgis in it. That pretty well exhausted Dozer and gave him his fill of spending time with other dogs. He can be a bit shy at times having been bit at Doggie Day Care about a year and a half ago. (He now does not attend day care any more because he got booted when he bit the other dog and drew blood. Apparently that was the deciding factor. As pawrents we are proud he held his own but sorry it all happened to begin with.)

I am planning on making a Corgi Cupcake for Doze's birthday with his favorite foods - apples, carrots, Canidae kibble and wet, snap peas and peanut butter as the frosting. Afterwards, he gets a walk past Oregon State University's farm complex so he can see his beloved llamas and alpacas, with a side trip to see the dairy cows and sheep. Dozer does not bark or get excited, he just likes to watch them and smell the aromas.
