Of interest is the UCI, based in Germany, an international dog organization with United States member IABCA (International All Breed Canine Association). The IABCA hosts international shows in the United States, so that the dogs don't have to travel abroad, but can earn international show titles in European Style Conformation.

Anyway, sorry this thread is getting off-topic of Corgi's being easy to raise, but that is interesting.

Thanks Chris. I know it got off topic, but it caught my intrest too. As I was sure that the AKC wasn't a member of any other orginization. I knew the US had one regestry that held international shows and that it was involved with the international orginization, but that's the only one in the US that is. None of the others are and the US as a whole is not a member or of affiliated with these orginizations.

And back on topic, I agree with others that a Corgi is not "everyone's" breed. Charlie is "easy" for me...but I like a high-spirited, somewhat independent, somewhat challenging working dog.
