Lead in toys can be toxic for dogs.

Some companies still use lead in paint to paint children's toys and pet products.

Old paint contained lead and the paint, paint chips and paint dust from homes being renovated are a source of lead toxicity.

Signs of lead poisoning includes vomiting and diarrhea through to seizures, abnormal behavior and weakness.
