Ein was just neutered yesterday and I picked him up after work today. He was fine it seemed--obviously quite excited to see us and we tried to keep him calm to keep him from stressing himself and damaging his stitches after surgery, but there was still something off about him. He wasn't listening AT ALL to any of our simplest commands (all of them, of course, in relation to getting him to take it easy and stop chasing after whatever caught his fancy cuz he was just all over the place). We got him home and he was hyperactive, tearing into all of his toys like crazy. He got sleepy after we fed him and gave him his pain meds so we went out to grab a bite to eat.

When we got home, he had peed his crate (mind you, he had peed and pood 4 times in the hour after he had gotten home from the vet, which seemed a bit excessive, but we figured it might still be normal post-surgery and a night in a kennel). We washed him up and shortly after he peed in the kitchen again, this time it was tinted red with blood. We thought maybe it was just leakage from his stitches, but we checked the site and it appeared fine and undamaged despite all his hyperness. We got him to calm down and nap in the crate again for a couple more hours, then we took him outside and when he peed it was pretty much just blood. I don't know if it appeared that way cuz it was dark out and he peed on fresh snow and so maybe I'm overreacting cuz this is my first puppy, but nothing about that seems right and I don't have an emergency number for my vet so I don't know if this is normal or not??? Help!
