With my hubby being military we hae relied heavily on kennels when we travel rather then putting them on a plane and have only had 1 problem, and actually when my neighbor picked up my dogs, he said I never would have left them there, Hubby took them. That was a whole drawn out thing though. (Cliffnotes version--Friend was supposed to keep them, decided day before we had to leave that he was going home as well. Couldn't use our regular kennel, was told place was good by another friend. Stopped payment on check, called BBB.) Especially if the place has web cams....I would love it! I agree with Fluffypants (sorry don't know name) I want to watch too so send me the link! At this rate all of us will be watching so even if you do go out of town we will all in essence watch your Cody for you!!
As far as the kennel Cough I am not sure how that works but also a little mystified on how dog gets it if vaccinated?!
