Squeaker chewing is a big no no for me. There is not a shred of doubt that it would be swallowed or choked on, in my house. Now, we seem to be at the point where toys are only torn up if they are ripped during the normal wear and tear of play. Sometimes I try to sew the stuffed ones, kind of challenging for me (sewing is not one of my many skills), but most of the times (like today) I toss them as soon as they are ripped.
I like the soccer ball idea! I'm going to have to pick one up up and give it a try.
