You mentioned rescue in your first post, I don't know how much luck anyone will have "rescuing" a corgi pup. When I think rescue or adoption I think of adult dogs and mixed breeds. Both our dogs were adopted as adults, Newman a full fledged pound "rescue" and Tucker the Corgi was an adoption through a personal reference.

Sorry can't add much except to say that I don't know if I'll ever buy a puppy in my life. There are many wonderful dogs who need forever homes and it's very nice to not have to deal with house training a puppy.
